Boating requirements
New: If you were born on 01/01/1998 or later, you have to pass the Florida Boating Safety Course which you can take online. If you were born before 01/01/1988, you only need a driver´s license to rent a boat.
Our all-round carefree package
- Orientation: You will get a detailed orientation by our captain. This orientation is mandatory.
- Comprehensive cover insurance: All our boats are insured with a fully comprehensive cover especially designed for rental boats ($ 1,000 decutible).
- Sea Tow: Sea Tow is always included, so you will be towed back on land.
- GPS: All boats are equipped with a GPS for easy navigation.
Fueling
You will get the boat with a full tank and you are also obliged to return the boat with a full tank. Our captain will tell you how and where to refuel the boat.
Orientation & Cleaning
You will get a detailed orientation by our captain to get familiar with the boat. You will cruise to the river so you also learn how to handle the boat at higher speeds. Additionally, you will be guided how to moor and cast off the boat.
Cleaning is included in the orientation fee. However, if you return the boat in a very dirty or bad condition we may charge you additional costs for cleaning.
